If you're in the neighborhood, and in a mood for local Village style food, this place will leave you satisfied most days. Noted English is not a common language here, so Hindi, Konkani or Marathi will serve well... Affordable and Delicious. Veg Tali and Poha are our favourites))

My recent experience with Mermaid resort was very pleasant. I did extend my stay considering the comfort and the the cozy vibes there. Cottages at most reasonable prices in north goa. Manager Dheeraj is a really helpful guy. Looking after all the requirements. I was on a solo trip and the resort gave me a perfect ambience to enjoy my solitude while I was also working sabbatical from there. I made a very good friend, who is their pet dog . I named him ‘cookie’ , my perfect companion who guarded me during the night, right outside the cottage. The restaurant outside serves comfort food at most reasonable pricing. I enjoyed their prawn thali the most 👌 The location is bit remote and secluded which makes it difficult to commute without a rented vehicle. That’s the only problem I had the entire time. Overall I am pleased with their hospitality.
